Countdown to Christmas

Hard to believe the Holidays are upon us already, but here in Room 8 we're definitely getting ready. This past week we made Countdown to Christmas chains and had a great time. Here are some pictures of the project in process.

IA is off to a great start here.

He's got the pattern figured out and knows what color comes next.

MB, a wonderful new addition to our class, has a great start on her chain here. We are so glad she has joined our group! :-)

AL is working hard to keep up with BW, who ended up being the first one done with his chain. He is an expert chain maker!

Here GR is making sure he keeps his ABAB pattern

of red and green going.

Good job GR!

AR and BC definitely seem to have a handle on things at this table.

CS is carefully adding the next link.

BM seems to have the hang of this project, too.

She's at the halfway point and going strong.

Another welcome addition to our class has been JG.

Looks like he's got this chain project figured out as well.

RB is also doing a great job with patterning.

I think our next pattern project will have to be a little trickier

... this one seems too easy for everyone!
